Job summary

Hamilton County Job & Family Services seeks a Quality Review Specialist to conduct in-house reviews, gather data, and evaluate accuracy of work products. You will write summaries and reports and respond to inquiries with attention to detail and timeliness.

The role requires knowledge of public assistance policy, strong data handling skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams. This is a hybrid position in Cincinnati with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Public Assistance policy for Medicaid, Food Assistance and Ohio Works First; agency policies and procedures; interviewing.
• Ability to deal with many variables and determine specific actions; calculate fractions, decimals & percentages; understand manuals and verbal instructions.
• Skill in: PC or mainframe data entry and work processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-house quality reviews of assigned cases; gathers data from a number of sources and evaluates accuracy of work products.
• Writes summaries and required reports; answers correspondence and telephone inquiries.
• Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions to receive information of techniques, policies and procedures used during performance of assigned duties.

Skills

Education

Associate degree in Public Administration / related field

High School or GED + 3 years DHS experience
