Job summary

Terracon is seeking a collaborative Project Accountant to manage the financial side of construction projects, from contract setup and administration to monitoring performance in a hybrid in-office/remote role.

You will partner with project teams and leadership to deliver accurate financial insights, support invoicing and collections, and help forecast project outcomes with timely reporting. Strong Excel skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant project accounting experience (or 8–10 years without degree).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain projects in the project accounting system with accurate data.
• Coordinate with billing and project teams to support invoicing and expense reviews.
• Support ETC reporting, earned value analysis, and forecasting.
• Communicate project financial performance and risks to leadership.
