Job summary

St. Baldrick's Foundation seeks a Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Specialist to coach volunteers, recruit participants, and raise funds for childhood cancer research. The role emphasizes building relationships, strategic guidance, and coordinating events.

Hybrid work with Monrovia, CA office 2–4 times monthly; fully remote out-of-state applicants with relevant experience are welcome. Starting wage is $20–$23/hour depending on experience and location.

• Positive, proactive problem-solving under pressure.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work seasonal overtime.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned volunteers and build relationships to support engagement and fundraising.
• Coach volunteers on event planning, donations, recruitment, sponsorships, publicity, and website use.
• Partner with organizers to develop strategies for volunteer management and promotion.
• Execute outreach to grow and retain peer-to-peer fundraising events, including cold calling and community engagement.
• Manage a high volume of events and inquiries via call center, online applications, or direct assignments.
• Ensure timely communication with volunteers by phone, email, and in-person or video meetings.
• Maintain documentation, run reports, and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve system functionality and the fundraising experience.
• Demonstrate the Foundation’s mission to inspire volunteers.
• Other duties as assigned.
