Goldberg, Miller & Rubin PC in Philadelphia seeks a litigation paralegal to join its Medical Malpractice team. This hybrid/remote position supports attorneys in civil litigation, handles discovery, drafts documents, and helps prepare for trial.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in medical malpractice, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Paralegal certification or related degree is a plus but not required.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in Medical Malpractice.
• Experience in civil litigation is a plus, but not required.
• Paralegal certificate or related degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
• Work with clients to receive discovery documents such as medical records, billing records, employment files, video footage from accident, etc.
• Review discovery materials – analyze and summarize medical records.
• Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents.
• Draft and send out Subpoenas to providers and records retrieval companies.
• Set up independent medical examinations (IMEs).
• Prepare for trial.
