Goldberg, Miller & Rubin PC in New York seeks a litigation paralegal to join the growing team. The position offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement based on experience and requires 2+ years in the legal field, preferably with insurance defense exposure.

The role supports attorneys with civil litigation matters, discovery management, and trial preparation, contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The firm emphasizes diversity and employee benefits.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience in the legal field; insurance defense experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in civil litigation is a plus, but not required.
• Paralegal certificate or related degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
• Work with clients to receive discovery documents such as medical records, billing records, employment files, video footage from accident, etc.
• Review discovery materials - analyze and summarize medical records.
• Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents.
• Draft and send out Subpoenas to providers and records retrieval companies.
• Set up independent medical examinations (IMEs).
• Prepare for trial.
