Job summary

Crystal Creek Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Assistant Controller to oversee daily accounting and month-end close for The Lodge at Jackson Hole and Mountain Modern Jackson. This hybrid role requires on-site work three days weekly and close collaboration with the Hotel Controller and General Manager.

You will manage reconciliations, budgeting, payroll, tax filings, and vendor relationships, driving accurate financial reporting and operational controls across two properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent
• 5 years accounting experience, hospitality experience required
• Knowledge of GAAP and USALI hotel accounting practices
• Experience with PMS and POS systems (e.g., M3, Opera, Sage) and Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing process and produce accurate financial statements
• Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations per company standards
• Assist with annual budget and monthly forecasts
• Assist with capital project approvals and expense tracking
• Oversee payroll, labor, and intercompany transactions as needed
• Ensure tax filings (sales, lodging) are prepared timely and accurately
• Support leadership with financial analysis and process improvements
