Job summary

Biltmore seeks a Reservation Sales Agent to handle inbound calls, assist guests with reservations, tickets, and passes, and provide information about the Asheville area and estate offerings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education/training preferred.
• One year minimum of guest service, sales, and/or reservations experience; call center experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to world class guest service.
• Ability to learn Biltmore’s systems and Asheville area knowledge.
• Proficient with internet and computer reservations; multi-tasking capable.
• Active listening to anticipate needs and suggest/sell to enhance guest experience.
• Excellent communication, telephone etiquette, and gracious hospitality.
• Proactive problem solving and sound judgment.
• Team oriented while able to work independently and represent Biltmore professionally.

Responsibilities

• Professionally answers in-bound calls with gracious hospitality and world class service.
• Provides information, options, and assistance for tickets, passes, activities, accommodations, and events.
• Learns Biltmore’s ticketing/reservation systems and local area knowledge.
• Handles multiple transactions quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Regularly meets or exceeds monthly department performance expectations.
• Responds to guest complaints within department guidelines and escalates when needed.
• Supports partner departments while adhering to policies and maintaining Biltmore’s reputation.
