Guggenheim Securities in New York is seeking a junior to mid-level Equities Operations Analyst (2–3 years) to support the full trade lifecycle across cash equities, ETFs, options, and related instruments. You will collaborate with front, middle, and back office teams to ensure accurate trade capture, settlement, and reconciliations.

The role emphasizes strong controls, process improvements, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2–3 years in equities operations, middle office, or related function.
• Foundational understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement, and reconciliations.
• Exposure to high-touch/electronic cash equities flows; intl markets a plus.
• Series 99 license will be required; Series 7 may be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Support the full trade lifecycle for cash equities, ETFs, listed options, and related instruments across high-touch, low-touch, and international flows.
• Monitor and resolve trade settlement issues and fails; coordinate with counterparties, brokers, and custodians.
• Assist with soft dollar and commission-sharing arrangements; ensure accurate trade booking and reconciliation.
• Perform daily position and cash reconciliations; identify and resolve breaks via journal entries and adjustments.
• Contribute to recurring/ad-hoc reporting for internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.
• Help identify and implement process/workflow improvements, including basic automation and standardization.
• Maintain strong controls and adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support other operations functions and project initiatives as directed.
