Job summary

The City of Santa Rosa’s Information Technology Department is seeking a Technology Application Specialist to support enterprise software applications and SQL databases. The role focuses on configuration, scripting, reporting, and user support across multiple city systems such as Finance, HR, Payroll, and Permitting.

The ideal candidate will have strong T-SQL, SSRS, and workflow skills, along with the ability to work with business leads and vendors to deliver process improvements and reliable

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise apps and MS SQL databases.
• Ability to write complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with SSRS and Cognos reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document and optimize business processes.
• Configure applications and modify workflows.
• Provide user support and training.
• Develop reports and perform data integrity checks.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT teams.
