Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Technical Support Professional to provide expert software and technical support for enterprise client-server and web apps tied to Microsoft SQL Server. This hybrid role reports to a manager and works with Support and Sustaining Engineering to ensure customer success.

You will resolve complex issues, deploy software, and transfer knowledge to customers while maintaining strong relationships across teams and with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years in technical support or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Intermediate or stronger knowledge of enterprise applications, relational databases, and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess severity, impact, and priority.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and communicate clearly with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls and emails for technical application support with clear status updates.
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents focusing on root cause, prevention, and knowledge transfer.
• Guide customers in effective use of software, manuals, and supporting documentation.
• Design and create SQL scripts and utilities; investigate and solve complex issues.
• Use case management tools to monitor cases and document findings with complete history.
