Job summary

Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) seeks an Endpoint, Software Management & Network Support Supervisor to lead four endpoint staff, six network staff, and oversee 12 total personnel in ISD. Responsibilities include; systems and network monitoring, server management, data storage, backup, recovery, and security planning.

Candidates should have a related degree and several years of leadership in IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology management, business management, computer science, information systems or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in Network and Systems Administration or a related field.
• 2 years of managing Network, Infrastructure, and Operations staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the end-point management, software delivery, and network support teams.
• Oversee server management, data storage, backup, recovery, and archival planning.
• Plan, design, and implement disaster recovery and network security strategies.
• Ensure procurement, setup, and testing of hardware and software.
