Job summary

You will identify and close long-term loans to middle-market businesses nationwide for expansion, M&A, and turnarounds, complementing revolving credit facilities. This role offers top-of-market base compensation, a cash bonus program tied to loan production, professional growth opportunities, and a hybrid in-office/remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Seven-plus years in commercial loan business development, deal structuring, and credit underwriting.
• BA/BS required; MBA and formal credit training preferred.
• Proven track record of loan origination and underwriting across diverse sectors.
• Expertise in financial statement analysis, modeling, and projections.
• Experience with government loan programs and co-financings is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify commercial loan opportunities up to $25 million through multiple channels.
• Develop loan proposals and negotiate terms with borrowers.
• Coordinate with Credit Team on underwriting.
• Prepare applications and interact with government loan guarantees.
• Collaborate with borrowers, legal counsel, and colleagues on closings.
• Support deal execution from origination to closing.
