Job summary

ConnectOne Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to develop new business, underwrite and close commercial loans while managing an existing portfolio. You will represent the bank in the local community and market its products and services.

The role requires strong knowledge of federal and state banking regulations, at least five years of C&I lending experience, and deep familiarity with loan documentation. A hybrid work setup is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of C&I lending experience.
• Thorough knowledge of federal banking regulations and requirements.
• Strong credit training and understanding of loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Source, develop and underwrite new loans and lines of credit for new and existing clients.
• Underwrite, structure and close commercial loans including land, site and construction transactions.
• Review loan documentation and negotiate terms with appropriate authority.
• Maintain and manage an existing loan portfolio with ongoing client service.
