Job summary

HB Capital is seeking an experienced Commercial Mortgage Broker to join us on a contract-based, remote role. You’ll run full-cycle capital placements for HB Capital clients, working across the full stack of debt and equity products and the nearly 10,000 capital sources on our platform.

The broker will assist clients in securing financing solutions for commercial real estate projects, including structuring deals, negotiating terms, and building relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate capital markets or related fields.
• Strong track record of originating and closing debt and equity transactions.
• Proficiency in Mortgage Marketing and industry strategies.
• Ability to navigate complex financial markets and tailor solutions.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Structure and size deals from initial client convo through close.
• Negotiate terms and manage execution - you own your deals end to end.
• Build and deepen lender/investor relationships, backed by the firm.
• Advise clients with judgment and precision.
• Help scale the firm by contributing to growth as a proactive producer.

Overview

HB Capital is seeking an experienced Commercial Mortgage Broker to join us on a contract-based, remote role. HB Capital has a pipeline, overflowing with company generated leads across all asset classes, locations, and deal sizes. You’ll run full-cycle capital placements for HB Capital clients, working across the full stack of debt and equity products and the nearly 10,000 capital sources on our platform.

Key Responsibilities

The broker will assist clients in securing financing solutions for their commercial real estate projects, including:

• Structuring and sizing deals from the first client conversation through close, matching each project to the right capital across our lender network.
• Negotiating terms and managing execution - you own your deals end to end.
• Building and deepening your own book of lender and investor relationships, backed by the ones the firm already holds.
• Advising clients through the process with the level of judgment and precision our reputation depends on.
• Contributing to how we scale - this is a growth firm, and the producers who show up early and uphold our standards will help shape what it becomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate capital markets, structured finance, mortgage, or related fields is a must.
• A strong track record of originating and closing debt and equity transactions is desired.
• Proficiency in Mortgage Marketing and knowledge of industry strategies.
• Proven ability to navigate complex financial markets and provide customized solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a remote environment.
