Motion Recruitment in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Release Coordinator for a long-term contract with a major financial services client. The role focuses on end-to-end release readiness, planning, testing, approvals, and deployment activities, with on-call support to ensure stable deployments.

You will partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to align scope and priorities, drive improvements to delivery flow, and coordinate weekly and expedited releases while balancing competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SDLC and release management practices.
• Ability to operate amid ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership.
• Proven problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision making.
• Experience supporting end-to-end delivery including planning, execution, and post-release validation.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery readiness and ensure backlog items are prioritized and viable.
• Coordinate end-to-end release readiness, testing, approvals, and deployment.
• Partner with Product Owners to align scope, sequencing, and priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce manual effort and improve flow.
• Provide release support coverage, including on-call for deployments.
• Plan and deploy weekly and on-demand releases on a rotation.
• Participate in patching, cloning, upgrades, and AGILE/JIRA standups.
