Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help customers achieve financial goals by growing and retaining consumer and business relationships. You will identify needs and recommend banking products and services while delivering outstanding service in an office setting.

You will educate customers on online, mobile, and ATM banking, maintain up-to-date product knowledge, and follow all security and regulatory policies. Collaboration with teammates is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum 1 year customer service and sales in banking or related fields.
• Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year in customer service and sales in banking, financial services or B2B sales.
• Ability to build, deepen and retain customer relationships.
• Demonstrates acumen in banking products, customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with technology including mobile and online banking.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments and referrals.
• Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
• Educate customers on how to optimize use of bank technology (online, mobile, ATM).
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology and bank policies.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk and regulatory policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
