GAIC Great American Insurance Company in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Reinsurance Analyst to join our team and support treaty and facultative reinsurance processes.

The role emphasizes data organization and collaboration with underwriting, claims, operations and finance. On-site four days per week with one remote day; core in-office days are Tuesday–Thursday to align with business needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail with sound decision making and problem resolution skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in compiling and organizing data, reports, and documentation to support treaty and facultative reinsurance processes.
• Research and resolve basic reinsurance-related inquiries by actively seeking information and escalating complex issues to senior staff.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, operations and finance to align reinsurance processes and objectives.
• Assist in communication and coordination of reinsurance schedules and meetings.
• Adhere to established reinsurance guidelines, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
