Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in financial reporting or tax, strong Excel skills, and detail-oriented problem solving, with cross-team collaboration and leadership interaction. Hybrid onsite presence in tax season.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of financial reporting, SEC reporting, or tax experience.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate data efficiently.
• Understanding of general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, audit processes, or compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Prepare and support state regulatory filings for leadership review.
• Compile, validate, and reconcile data between general ledger and regulatory reports.
• Analyze variances and conduct research to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor reporting deadlines to ensure timely and accurate submission.
• Support audit requests and maintain documentation for compliance activities.
• Coordinate and assist with tax filings in partnership with external providers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
