The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support process improvements across GL, reconciliations, and close cycles.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and comfort collaborating with finance, operations, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Experience with month-end close.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals and reclassifications.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close and deliver reports.
• Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and analyses.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow, and audits.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, and leadership.
• Guide junior accounting staff as needed.
