Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in insurance/business administration.
Ten years of commercial lines underwriting experience.
Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
CPCU designation or other underwriting-related designation preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct the regional underwriting process.
Develop and enforce regional underwriting guidelines and procedures.
Oversee and mentor underwriting team; manage talent development and succession planning.
Grow profitable relationships by managing agency relationships across the region.
Collaborate with Regional VP to set underwriting strategy and goals.
