Job summary

PRA Business Events, a leading destination management company, seeks a Regional Event Sales Manager in Salt Lake City. This hybrid role requires in-market residence and about 1 day per week in the office.

You will drive new business, manage key accounts, and collaborate with design and production teams to deliver profitable programs. You will qualify leads, craft innovative strategies, and present compelling proposals to clients while maintaining strong supplier relationships and achieving sales

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a DMC, incentive travel, event management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Tourism, Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or related degree preferred.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals consistently.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers/partners on behalf of clients for best locations and terms.
• Strong client development and proposal presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales by developing key relationships with new accounts and growing existing ones while ensuring client experiences and profitability.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts and build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Qualify leads and develop program strategies to win business and meet annual sales goals.
• Coordinate with Experience Designers and Creative Team on proposals and presentations to meet client goals and budget.
