Job summary

DLA Piper LLP is seeking associates with 3–5 years of experience in general real estate transactions, including purchase, sale, joint venture and financing. The Dallas office welcomes candidates with transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized law schools.

We seek immediately transferable skills and emphasize collaboration, client service and rigorous legal standards within a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and strong academic background.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Succinct clients-facing writing and advocacy abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research to support transaction preparation.
• Draft briefs, motions, contracts, and other legal documents with precision.
• Assist/manage complex real estate transactions from inception to closing.
• Interact with clients and provide timely updates and strategic advice.
• Collaborate with partners and other professionals to develop case strategies.
• Attend hearings, depositions, negotiations, and trials as needed.
