Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Seattle law firm to identify an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy transactional practice, with emphasis on commercial real estate financing and title work from due diligence through closing and post-closing.

The ideal candidate will review title commitments, surveys, and loan documents, coordinate with attorneys, lenders, and title companies, and manage closing checklists and deadlines while handling multiple

Qualifications

• Prior paralegal experience supporting commercial real estate financing
• Experience reviewing title commitments, title reports, surveys, and title policies
• Familiarity with title clearance, escrow, recording, and post-closing processes
• Experience preparing and managing commercial loan documents and UCC filings
• Strong organizational and drafting skills
• Proficiency with Word and PDF editing tools
• Experience with document management systems preferred
• Excellent project and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments, reports, and exemption documents for commercial real estate financing
• Identify title issues and coordinate resolution with attorneys, title companies, lenders, and borrowers
• Review surveys and legal descriptions for consistency with title materials
• Prepare and manage title letters, escrow instructions, and related correspondence
• Coordinate with title and escrow companies on document execution, recording, funding, and final title policies
• Draft and maintain loan and financing documents for commercial real estate
• Conduct due diligence searches including litigation, UCC, and liens
• Prepare UCC financing statements, amendments, continuations, and terminations
• Coordinate closings, maintain checklists, and organize executed documents
• Track deadlines through the transaction lifecycle and prepare closing binders
• Support attorneys on additional real estate financing projects as needed
