Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a well-established law firm in Central Florida to hire an experienced Commercial Real Estate & Lending Paralegal. You will support sophisticated real estate and financing matters from inception through closing and post-closing.

The role focuses on managing due diligence, preparing closing documents, and coordinating loan funding, with direct collaboration with attorneys. Hybrid schedule available after onboarding and proven success in the role in Orlando.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial real estate and/or lending paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting lender representation matters from loan approval through closing and post-closing.
• Strong understanding of title review, due diligence, and transactional documentation.
• Experience preparing closing statements and coordinating loan funding.
• Ability to manage complex transactions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management/document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and development transactions.
• Coordinate due diligence, including title commitments, surveys, lien searches, UCC searches, and other property-related records.
• Prepare and manage closing documents, signature packages, closing statements, and closing checklists.
• Assist with lender-side commercial lending transactions, including: Promissory notes, Mortgages, Security agreements, Assignments, Loan modifications and extensions.
• Coordinate funding requirements, wire transfers, recordings, and post-closing deliverables.
• Communicate with lenders, title companies, real estate professionals, governmental agencies, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Track deadlines, closing requirements, and multiple active transactions simultaneously.
