Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a Document Review Specialist to perform post-closing audit of real estate loan documentation, ensuring compliance with TRID/Reg X and Z, ECOA, GLBA, and SECU policies. This role supports disbursement, loan boarding, and final storage of documents, under supervision.

You will review closing packages, verify fees, resolve discrepancies with closing agents, and maintain precise record keeping across storage databases.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or relevant work history in finance or lending.
• Strong understanding of regulatory lending guidelines and documentation.
• Experience reviewing real estate closing packages and disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Audit executed real estate closing packages for regulatory compliance and policy adherence (TRID/Reg X and Z).
• Audit closing fees and escrow disbursements against disclosures; report discrepancies.
• Maintain record-keeping of closing packages and corrections; file and organize documents for storage.
• Communicate with internal departments and closing agents to resolve discrepancies; re-disclosures as needed.
• Field inquiries regarding closing documentation and loan disbursements.
