Job summary

SECU is seeking a Post Closing Specialist to perform post closing audit review of loan documentation within the real estate loan delivery process. Under supervision, you will ensure compliance with TRID/Reg X and Z, ECOA, GLBA and other guidelines, reviewing signed closing documents, processing files from disbursal to loan boarding.

The role demands strong attention to detail, experience in real estate lending, and proficiency with MS Office and PDF tools.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; fields: Business, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or related.
• Three years of relevant experience can substitute for degree.
• 2–5 years of direct experience in real estate lending.
• Understanding of federal lending guidelines: Reg B, Reg Z, Reg P, UDAAP.
• Ability to learn additional guidelines: Reg C, Reg X, HFIAA, SAFE Act.
• Proficient in Mortgage Origination/Servicing Systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Audit real estate closing packages for regulatory compliance and SECU policy.
• Audit closing fees and escrow disbursements against disclosures.
• Maintain records of closing packages and corrections in tracking systems.
• Communicate with closing agents to resolve discrepancies.
• Field inquiries from members and departments about closing documents.
