Job summary

Addison Group in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to support site selection, market analysis, and new location development. You will build financial models, analyze data, and provide data-driven recommendations to guide expansion decisions.

The role requires 1–3+ years in real estate analysis, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and the ability to present findings to senior leadership. Hybrid in-office schedule with some remote work, competitive compensation, and annual bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of relevant professional experience; more is welcome.
• Experience in real estate analysis, site selection, market research, financial planning, or business analytics.
• Strong financial modeling using quantitative data.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with multiple data sources.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential new locations using demographic data, market research, financial projections, and local economic trends.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate site feasibility, projected performance, development costs, and ROI.
• Assess market opportunities and provide recommendations to support new location selection and expansion plans.
• Track the progress of development projects, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and action items.
• Review financial and operational performance of newly opened locations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings to senior leadership.
