The associate will represent lenders, borrowers and other stakeholders on a broad range of transactions, with substantial client contact and early responsibility.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience at a law firm with commercial real estate finance.
• Experience representing lenders and borrowers in CRE lending transactions.
• Strong understanding of financing structures across asset classes including office, multifamily, retail, development.
• Admission to the Florida Bar, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, document, and close commercial real estate financing transactions.
• Represent lenders and borrowers in acquisition, construction, bridge, permanent, mezzanine, and syndicated loans.
• Assist with origination, purchase, sale, participation, syndication, and securitization of CM loans.
• Conduct and manage transaction due diligence including real estate, title, survey, and financing documents.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and ancillary transaction agreements.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other participants across all deal phases.
