Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC -North America Customer Center is seeking a Quality Coordinator to identify operational process improvements on inbound and outbound flows. You will report to the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager and work with a second coordinator at the South Charlotte location in a hybrid role.

The role requires 4-year degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in warehouse/supply chain, WMS exposure, SAP experience, and ISO 9001/14001 familiarity.

Qualifications

• You have a 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
• You have at least 3 years preferred work experience in warehouse or supply chain.
• You have WMS exposure and knowledge WMS implementation, administration, power user).
• You have experience with SAP.
• You have a certification in ISO standards 9001 and 14001 (Preferred).
• Ability to analyze to form valuable insights
• You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational process improvements on quality of inbound and outbound flows.
• Report to our Safety Health Environment and Quality Manager.
• Work with a second Quality Coordinator at our South Charlotte location.
• Handle the warehouse side of customer claims; investigate root cause and actions while understanding customer needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership team and warehouse engineers to implement improvements on quality for inbound and outbound flows.
• Support the RMA (returns) team with all type of quality questions.
• Work closely with the SQA engineer to improve supplier quality standards.
• Regularly audit warehouse flows on quality.
• Part of the Monthly Process Quality meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
