Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a QA Tester to join an Agile product team supporting customer-facing portals, web systems, and CRM applications in a hybrid role based in St. Louis, MO.

You will focus on manual testing across the software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on manual testing experience, strong requirements analysis skills, and a collaborative mindset to work with stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual software testing experience.
• Experience creating and executing detailed manual test cases and scenarios.
• Strong understanding of various testing methodologies (functional, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, negative).
• Experience analyzing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience documenting, tracking, and retesting defects.
• Strong business process and requirements analysis skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and designs to determine test coverage.
• Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases and regression suites.
• Perform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, negative, and boundary testing.
• Validate business rules, workflows, and cross-system data flows.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, product owners, and vendors to support releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
• Conduct production validation and post-deployment testing.
