Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a Quality Assurance QA/Test Engineer to contribute to software testing for enterprise applications. The role involves evaluating test requirements, developing test procedures, conducting interface testing, and maintaining baselines and documentation.

Hybrid work with in-office support in Middletown, RI. Responsibilities include unit testing, software/system integration testing, and creating and maintaining software and system documentation, collaborating with engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technology field.
• Two to five years of QA/Test experience (preferred DoD experience)
• Actively participate in a self-driven Agile Scrum team and all related ceremonies
• Develop, identify, and peer review requirements, test cases, and procedural documentation
• Execute test cases for automated, manual, regression, security, performance, and other applicable testing
• Identify functional problems based on establish requirements and create clear bug reports for defects for validation once resolved
• Review results to compile metrics and actions based on analysis of patterns
• Self-directed with ability to prioritize work independently and with a team to complete required tasking
• Responsive and responsible communication through technology with remote teammates
• Strong problem solving, application testing, and debugging capabilities
• Clear and concise written and verbal skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance

Responsibilities

• Software testing and quality assurance for enterprise business applications including analysis of test requirements, development of test procedures, interface testing, maintenance of system requirement baselines and documentation, and support of engineering meetings.
• Unit testing, software/system integration testing, and creation and maintenance of software and system documentation.
• Assist with interface testing and maintenance of baselines and documentation.
• Support engineering meetings and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
