Job summary

Crown Castle International Corp. in Houston seeks a Manager of Quality Assurance for Software Testing to lead testing across the lifecycle of enterprise applications and technology solutions.

You will develop QA standards, manage teams, and drive automation to ensure releases meet quality, security, and performance requirements. The role partners with business, product, and development teams, guiding continuous improvement, defining metrics, and shaping testing governance within a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Certifications in Quality Assurance preferred.
• Five (5)+ years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering in enterprise environments.
• Three (3)+ years of experience leading QA teams or test automation initiatives.
• Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and QA practices.
• Experience managing offshore and distributed QA teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC processes.
• Expertise in functional, integration, regression, performance, API, and user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software testing activities across the application lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain QA standards, testing methodologies, and governance processes.
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, API, and UAT testing.
• Drive test automation strategy and increase automated test coverage.
• Manage defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution processes.
• Ensure quality controls are integrated into Agile and DevOps delivery practices.
• Assess release readiness and provide quality recommendations for deployments.
• Develop and report on quality metrics, testing effectiveness, and release performance.
• Partner with business, product, and development teams to ensure testable requirements.
