Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager for an Upington, Northern Cape, ZA position. The role leads the QA team, drives QMS development, and ensures products meet safety and regulatory standards in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in food science or related field, 7+ years in QA within food/beverage manufacturing, and experience with HACCP, FSSC 22000 or BRC certifications. Travel and relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field required.
Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.
Experience in QA management within food/beverage manufacturing is essential.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Management System (QMS), including HACCP and GMP.
Oversee quality control operations: testing, raw material inspection, finished product release.
Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations and standards.
