Placements24 is seeking an experienced FMCG Quality Assurance Manager for a site in Welkom, Free State. You will design and maintain QA/QC systems across development and manufacturing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and product safety.

The role requires deep HACCP/ISO knowledge, 5–7 years FMCG QA experience, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation, with leadership responsibilities over a skilled QA team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.
• 5–7 years in QA/QC within FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards.
• Experience developing and implementing QA systems.

Aufgaben

• Establish QA policies, procedures and standards for all FMCG products.
• Oversee QC activities: raw materials, in-process testing, final product analysis.
• Conduct internal audits for compliance with quality standards and regulations in Welkom.
• Lead and mentor the QA team for effective execution.
• Investigate complaints and CAPA promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain to embed quality.
• Stay updated on industry regs and best practices in food safety.
