Job summary
HUB International is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer II to join our Enterprise Testing Team in a hybrid Chicago, IL role. You will lead testing efforts, design strategies, and drive automation using Playwright while collaborating with business analysts and developers to ensure high-quality software for our clients.
Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in QA, strong automation know-how, SQL skills, and exposure to insurance products.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of industry experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on Test Lead experience with cross-functional teams.
- Strong QA methodology, automation and manual testing.
- Insurance domain knowledge.
- AI concepts in QA applications.
- Playwright and other automation tools experience.
- Proficient in SQL to validate data changes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop test strategy with Testing Manager.
- Design and deliver functional and integration tests.
- Create and execute automated tests with Playwright.
- Execute performance tests when required.
- Identify, reproduce, and document bugs; verify fixes.
- Coordinate with dev teams to resolve issues.
- Support multiple projects across applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies.
