Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Tower Lead) to lead QA efforts across applications, products, and business workstreams. You will define test strategies, drive test planning and execution, manage risks, and provide visibility into delivery readiness across complex initiatives.

Partner with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure quality and testability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including leadership of testing for complex applications, products, or enterprise initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end testing in Agile delivery environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive resolution of quality and delivery challenges.
• Strong knowledge of test strategy, planning, requirements analysis, traceability, defect management, risk-based testing, metrics, and release readiness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present quality status, risks, and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating multiple QA resources, workstreams, integrated systems, and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of functional, integration, regression, UAT, component, and automated testing practices.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to independently identify risks and influence delivery decisions.

Responsabilités

• Provides leadership for quality assurance activities for assigned applications, products, business workstreams, and strategic initiatives.
• Defines and executes test strategies, plans, schedules, estimates, and resource planning to support delivery outcomes.
• Oversees functional, integration, regression, and automated testing to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Partners with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure clear, testable requirements.
• Establishes end-to-end traceability across requirements, test cases, results, and defects.
• Facilitates defect triage and resolution, ensuring timely identification and closure of issues.
• Monitors testing progress, quality metrics, risks, dependencies, and release readiness to stakeholders.
• Identifies risks and escalates issues with actionable recommendations to support decisions.
• Coordinates testing across integrated systems and provides risk analyses and release readiness for deployments.
• Mentors QA team members and promotes accountability and best practices.
• Analyzes defect trends and production issues to identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Contributes to QA governance, standardized processes, and automation adoption.
