Casper in Richmond, VA is seeking a QA Engineer to own functional and end‑to‑end testing across our systems. You will design, execute, and automate tests using Playwright and TypeScript, ensuring quality across web, back‑end, and SaaS workflows.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps, maintain test plans, and contribute to an automation framework while working a hybrid schedule four days per week in the Richmond office.

Qualifications

• Experience testing an e‑commerce or SaaS product.
• Strong test case design and bug reporting skills with clear repro steps.
• Hands‑on exposure to automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Ability to design and execute functional and end‑to‑end tests across web and back‑end systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and end‑to‑end test cases across web and back‑end systems.
• Own test planning for features and releases with traceable test plans and cases.
• Perform exploratory testing to surface issues scripted cases miss.
• Validate cross‑system workflows across interconnected platforms.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
