Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking experienced User Acceptance and System Testers to support software implementation, modernization, and digital transformation projects across public sector organizations.

Working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments, the System Tester plans, designs, executes, and documents testing to verify that solutions meet business, functional, technical, data, integration, and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and performing functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, including creating and executing test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Experience identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking defects using test management and defect-tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze requirements, technical specifications, workflows, and business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare and deliver test scenarios, test strategies, reviews and test data while adhering to business process and test standards.
• Conduct user acceptance testing on technical work items delivered for the business.
• Provide detailed descriptions of scenarios that failed.
• Verify and validate business requirements against business processes.
• Report defects in test management tools and manage them throughout their lifecycle.
• Partner with the business to engage and lead transparent testing efforts.
• Author complex test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
• Perform complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation.
• Support the User Acceptance Testing as part of the end-to-end process of seeing requirements through to completion.
