Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) seeks experienced User Acceptance and System Testers to support software implementation, modernization, and digital transformation projects across public sector organizations.

Working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments, the System Tester plans, designs, executes, and documents testing to verify that solutions meet business, functional, technical, data, integration, and operational requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of systems/application testing or quality assurance experience.
Experience performing interface, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Knowledge of APIs, web services, file-based transfers, batch processing, and system-to-system interfaces.
Familiarity with testing governance, QA frameworks, and structured testing methodologies.
Experience in public sector, health and human services, workforce development, education, tax, licensing, or benefits administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
Create and maintain test data, scenarios, and scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects; drive resolution.
Validate data integrity and interoperability across modules.
Collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
