Job summary

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is seeking a Pulmonary and Hyperbaric Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our team in California. The APP will split responsibilities between the Ambulatory Pulmonary Clinic and the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Service, with emphasis on outpatient pulmonology and hyperbaric care.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of outpatient experience, preferably in pulmonology; hyperbaric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in the outpatient ambulatory setting, preferably pulmonology.
• Experience in hyperbaric medicine is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in both the Ambulatory Pulmonary Clinic and the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Service.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations for pulmonary patients.
• Evaluate and manage common pulmonary conditions (asthma, COPD, chronic cough, dyspnea).
• Educate patients on disease management, inhaler technique, smoking cessation, and oxygen therapy.
• Evaluate HBO therapy patients, plan treatment frequency, duration, and goals.
• Participate in quality improvement and research related to hyperbaric medicine and pulmonary diseases.
