Job summary

Agate Software, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Project Manager to own and drive multiple grant-management implementations for government and nonprofit clients.

You will lead planning, risk, and stakeholder management to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery, coordinating with product, sales, and support teams. The role requires 1–3 years of PM experience, familiarity with Azure DevOps/Jira/Visio/LucidChart/Figma, and CAPM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of project management experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Visio, LucidChart, or Figma.
• Proven ability to manage small-to-medium-scale projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Experience in client-facing roles, managing stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for transforming client needs into actionable plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
• CAPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high-volume portfolio of implementations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and mitigation plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; advise on grant management strategies and product capabilities.
• Collaborate with customers to define and document business requirements; align goals with product functionality.
• Participate in cross-functional activities including requirements gathering and business process modeling.
• Guide technical teams in system configuration, customizations, and enhancements.
• Oversee quality assurance and validation to meet contract specifications.
• Track operational metrics and maintain project documentation with progress reports.
