Job summary

Eliassen Group in Florida is seeking a Public Engagement Manager II to lead stakeholder outreach for large-scale electric transmission projects. Hybrid work: 3 days on-site in Lake Mary or St. Petersburg, with W2 benefits.

You will develop engagement plans, coordinate with internal and external partners, and act as a frontline public communicator, addressing concerns and promoting awareness and trust.

Qualifications

• Public engagement experience as a frontline communicator to the public.
• Experience in energy sector–community relations or customer-facing communications.
• Experience engaging in community or town hall style forums.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic stakeholder engagement plans for large, complex transmission projects.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote awareness and trust.
• Advocate for the public’s interests and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Develop external communications strategies with internal partners.
• Create proactive strategies to address potential opposition related to projects.
• Interact with external stakeholders to identify solutions that support project goals.
• Serve as frontline communicator between the client and the public.
• Leverage MS Office to produce engagement materials and documentation.
