Eliassen Group in the United States is seeking a Public Engagement Manager to serve as a liaison between the company, communities, municipalities, and stakeholders, driving awareness, trust, and successful project outcomes for large transmission initiatives.

The role emphasizes community outreach, stakeholder relations, and clear communications across town halls and public meetings; this is a W2 contract based in Florida with monthly travel between Lake Mary and St. Petersburg.

Formación

• Experience in public engagement, community relations, or stakeholder relations.
• Background in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure industry.
• Strong experience presenting and engaging with communities, municipalities, and public forums.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and public outreach strategies for large-scale transmission projects.
• Build relationships with community leaders, municipalities, public officials, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent project teams in public meetings, town halls, and community forums.
• Advocate for community interests while supporting project objectives.
• Create communication plans and messaging for external audiences.
• Identify and address stakeholder concerns, helping resolve issues and mitigate opposition.

Are you passionate about community engagement and building strong stakeholder relationships? Join a leading energy organization and play a critical role in supporting major transmission infrastructure projects across Florida.

As a Public Engagement Manager, you will serve as a key liaison between the company, local communities, municipalities, and stakeholders, helping drive awareness, trust, and successful project outcomes for new and existing transmission initiatives.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Rate: $46.00 to $51.00/hr. w2

What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and public outreach strategies for large-scale transmission projects
• Build relationships with community leaders, municipalities, public officials, and other key stakeholders
• Represent project teams in public meetings, town halls, and community forums

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in public engagement, community relations, stakeholder relations, or customer-facing communications
• Background in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure industry
• Strong experience presenting and engaging with communities, municipalities, and public forums
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Travel:

• Monthly paid travel (same day) between Lake Mary, FL and St. Petersburg, FL
