Job summary

Technology Architects, Inc. is seeking an experienced Proxmox Subject Matter Expert to lead and support our virtualization practice. You will design, deploy, migrate, and optimize Proxmox-based environments for enterprise clients, while mentoring engineers and supporting sales initiatives.

The role requires deep technical expertise in Proxmox VE, KVM, Ceph, and storage architectures, paired with strong communication and teaching skills to deliver outcomes and grow the practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of virtualization experience and 3+ years Proxmox VE administration.
• Ability to design, deploy, migrate, and optimize Proxmox-based infra.
• Strong communication, teaching, and client-facing skills.
• Experience creating SOWs, architectures, and implementation plans.
• Proven mentoring and training capabilities for engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Proxmox training programs for internal teams and clients.
• Create deployment guides, SOPs, and best-practice resources.
• Lead Proxmox deployment, migrations, HA, Ceph, and ZFS setups.
• Mentor engineers and support personnel in Proxmox administration.
• Lead client engagements, perform assessments, and plan migrations.
• Develop SOWs, project scopes, and architectural designs.
• Provide Tier 3 support and drive continuous improvement.
