Vanderbilt University seeks a Prospect Development Specialist to act as the internal liaison for DAR Partners and Prospect Development. You will guide major gifts and leadership annual giving staff, manage prospect pools, and produce data-driven insights to optimize fundraising activity.

You will collaborate with DAR staff, leverage the Prospect Development Optimization Guide, and advance relationships with internal teams and external partners to align donor interests with Vanderbilt priorities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Three years of fundraising experience; five years preferred.
• Preference for Vanderbilt University or Vanderbilt’s Development and Alumni Relations experience.
• Preference for experience working with frontline fundraisers.
• Ability to manage/maintain prospect development system and ensure compliance with related guidelines.
• Exceptional database skills; Salesforce CRM and Ellucian Advance; Trailhead certifications preferred but not required.
• MS Office Suite proficiency; Tableau/PowerBI familiarity preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Possess detailed knowledge of the university’s prospect pool and DAR processes.
• Ensure compliance with the Prospect Optimization Guide for roles and data in DAR.
• Recommend portfolio moves to enhance donor lifetime value and engagement with Vanderbilt.
• Review prospect development requests for assignment and ensure data accuracy.
• Initiate projects to discover and analyze new prospect segments.
• Plan and execute portfolio analysis projects and report to DAR leadership.
• Develop monthly DAR leadership reports with IM, Data Analytics, and Prospect Management teams.
• Use visualization and analytics to describe groups of prospects or constituents.
• Direct prospect tracking and moves management for major gifts within $25k–$1,000,000 range.
