Job summary

Red Cedar Consultancy in McLean, VA seeks a Junior Proposal Coordinator to support the Proposal Department with developing proposals, presentations, abstracts, and other written deliverables.

You will assist with RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, and informal requests, coordinating with Project Managers to ensure timely, compliant submissions. The role requires attention to detail, multitasking across tasks, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, marketing, communications or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Concisely maintain and update schedules, pipelines and all proposal related data.
• Create, maintain and add to SharePoint libraries of proposal-related information including templates, write ups, references, and resumes.
• Review and outline relevant RFQ's, RFPs, and SOQ's for the Senior Management team's input, including summarizing project scope of work, response due dates, and major deliverables.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a proposal strategy and response timeline.
• Draft initial proposal response, scope of work, and incorporate content from various colleagues.
• Develop proposal content to ensure compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements.
• Create graphics, charts, tables to assist in proposal development
• Assist in coordinating between various in house and external teams as required
• Periodically work with staff to update project team resumes and bios.
• Strong analytical, creative, and innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to learn and use other software that Red Cedar may need.
• Assist with any other project duties as required.
