Job summary

MOREgroup is seeking a motivated Project Specifier to join our design team. The role focuses on producing, editing, and coordinating technical specifications from design through construction, ensuring alignment with standards and codes.

You will collaborate with architects, consultants, and design technology teams to deliver accurate, up-to-date specifications while mentoring others and contributing to quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is strongly preferred; CDT/CCS certifications are a plus.
• 5–10 years of experience in an architecture/engineering/construction environment or specs role.
• Experience using SpecLink or similar specifications software preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of prioritizing multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and consistency in documentation and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to compose and coordinate project specifications.
• Mentor project leadership in developing individual project specifications.
• Attend client and consultant meetings focusing on specifications.
• Perform quality control reviews of specifications across project phases.
• Research industry systems/products to keep docs updated with current selections.
• Contribute to updating firm master specification content.
• Coordinate with Digital Practice to link project models and specs.
