Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Procurement Manager for Advanced Power Gen. in Overland Park, KS (and CO). The role focuses on leading procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring policy-compliant execution across projects.

You will work in a hybrid environment with robust benefits and ESOP ownership, contributing to major infrastructure programs and winning outcomes for our clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
• BA or BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned procurement activities for a proposal or project.
• Lead others with procurement responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Purchases equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects following established policies and procedures.
• Executes and manages the procurement process on assigned contracts including bid list preparation, solicitation of quotes, and evaluating, negotiating and awarding of contracts.
• Leads negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts.
