Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for proposals and projects. The role supports budgeting, scheduling, and vendor negotiations in a hybrid work environment across multiple locations in Overland Park KS and Greenwood Village CO.

You will manage bid processes, supplier selections, and contract awards while coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with policies and project goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) as applicable.
• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Purchases equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects per policy.
• Assists in project setup of procurement activities.
• Executes and manages the procurement process on assigned contracts including bid list, quotes, evaluations and awards.
• Leads negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts.
• Collaborates to resolve complex claims or other contract issues.
• Monitors project procurement activities and reports status.
