Job summary

AKAM Living Services, Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate projects from planning through closeout with a hybrid schedule (four days in-office, one remote day weekly).

You will oversee scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk, while communicating with Boards, residents, architects, engineers, and contractors; strong organizational skills and independent work style are essential for success in this role. This is a full-time opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in construction, capital improvements.
• Experience managing residential capital improvement projects in occupied NYC buildings.
• Ability to work independently with remote supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects with defined scopes, priorities, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead meetings with Boards and property teams; prepare updates and reports.
• Coordinate consultant procurement and design development with architects/engineers.
• Monitor construction progress and report site conditions.
• Track budgets, changes, payments, and closeout documentation.
